Sliding Hardtop

Anyone know anything about this sliding hardtop on the red truck????

i know there was a pic in MT with a mini with the pontiac g6 sliding multi glass sunroof. but that doesn't look like it. to me, that one has too many pieces. it looks like window blinds. my $.02.

I personaly would get an all glass sunroof from a new mini cooper and put it in a mini truck, but the truck would hafta be a xcab, its a big ass mechanism and glass top

Well I looked at it and it has a webasto motor in it, and my buddy said he talked to webasto during sema and they had one that was only four piece long instead of the one on the red truck that was like 8, but anyways at sema webasto said it was still a prototype, so maybe this one is a prototype also. That is a Mercedes slate roof. It came out of a mercedez suv. They are ssickkkk. 40"x62" or something like that. Sold that when I worked at Streetbeat. i think they stil might have some.

It's my buddy Taylor's explorer with the aviator front end. The top is from a mercedes suv. I forget the exact model. He had to get it from a mercedes dealership.
