what kind of truck and engine? s-10 vortechs for example are known for leaking fuel psi regulators which is located under the upper intake plenumn

maybe it was hard starting in the cold and soemone pumped the gas one too many times and gas leaked threw the rings or if it is in a s-10 with the 4.3 the injectors in those are messed up to begin with

older chevys as in mec fuel pumps some times when they go bad they still work just leak gas in to the motor

ya if its a mech fuel pump mounted on the head the diaphram leaks and runs into the oil

aside from mechanically damaged it can just be running way rich. the CPI vortecs leak at the regulator. (says VORTEC in orange on the plenum cover)

what kinda truck/motor are you dealing with?

its a 2.2 4 cyl. in a 96 s-10 but when i drained the oil pan it was just really brown like lake water and reallt thin but when i moved the pan it was like a milky color if that means anything

Are you sure it's gas and not coolant? 2.2's are notorious for head gasket leaks.

gas doesnt turn oil a milky color. you got coolant in there.
