Buying a S10

well guys i have come across a 1997 chevy s10 with 110,000 miles on it and its a 5 speed its got 17" billett wheels on it and a 3inch spindle drop and 3 inch drop blocks in the rear...he wants 2k for it and iam going to buy it sometime this summer and iam going to bag that bisch!!! heres a pic...i will primer it aswell!....

If it's the 4 cylinder make sure the head is not blown, or even worse cracked. The 4 bangers a notorious for this. I know I have replaced my head 3 times now. Easiest way I can think of to check it, let the engine warm up and see if it smells like radiator fluid near the back of the head. I warn you of this because it is a fairly costly repair. actually this truck is my friend and he has had it for almost a year and it runs great...i just got a new brake booster like 4 months ago and needs a new set of tires but thats it..hes taking good care of it...it dosent smell like radiator fluid at all...and its a 4 banger..lol
