While installing my chrome valve covers and polished aluminum intake I got some rtv residue/finger prints on them. Shit isnt coming off for anything. What can I use to get them cleaned up without messing up the finish?

Use the mother chrome polish and the mothers billet polish, The billet polich is badass for any polished alluminum. Should of used some zoop on the intake to keep it looking polished

I hope you zoop sealed your intake manifold before you installed it! Its a pain in the butt to clean and polish it when its on. i wish I would have did it to begin with on mine. Anyway, I use Mothers Billet polish for my aluminum and Mothers chrome polish for my chrome parts. Did it stain the finish?

nah, it didnt stain. The rtv residue was really light. Yesterday I went to it once it once completely dried and sprayed on some window cleaner and it all whiped right off.

Amonia based cleaners will dull your polished aluminum.

Mother's billet polish and chrome polish is the shit. I used one of those Mother's powerballs on some billet wheels and they looked like chrome after we got done.
