i just got a pair of door pushers. where is the best place to mount them? pics will help. oh yeah its on a 86 toyota

I havent done a yota but I will say, the closer to the latch, the better they will work. Keep in mind, you can mount them in the door or the pillar

i would mount it as close to the latch like Zac said, this is about the strongest part of the door...i have seen some cheaper vehicles like import cars that had the poppers on the upper part of the window frame(dont know why??) and it didn't look like it was supposed to, looked like it was a little bent

this was on a kia or hyundai though, yota might be better

i was originally going to mount them on the bottom corner of the door but like you said it looked like it was bending the metal... i dont want a funky gap where the pusher is against the door.

also down there, I have found that they dont push the door off the latch most the time

u should mount them in the middle most part of the door which, like everyone has been saying, near the latch. there for ur door wont get tweaked and u will get a better push open
