just a thought about compressor power

i was just thinking if we use a cap to store power for our amps on our stereo system why couldnt we use a cap to store power for other things like a compressor for our air ride... does anyone else think that this would work???

nope...caps are not a long term storage device...they're there to even out the power during transients and spikes in current draw. A cap would do you no good at all. It'll fully drain in just a couple seconds

cool was just a thought.. thanks i was just thinking if it can store enough power from my big amp.. it might store a little power to even out the power when the compressor is running.. so that would not work to store some power.. i did not mean to run the compressor just to store the extra power when its working just like with an amp.
