does anyone just get win the mood when they have to fix something on there truck and just dont wanna do it even the smallest thing
All the time. Im at the shop so much working on other peoples stuff, when i get the time to work on my own, i almost have to force myself to do it.
prob the best thing that you can do is take a break from it all for about a month. just do other stuff in your spare time. once a descent amount of time has passed you will be ready to pick up some wrenches again. it has always worked for me. its been almost a month since i used a welder and the other night i had an opportunity to tig weld for a while and i felt like i was in heaven. the smell of it and the machine running was like no other. whatever you do dont lose your passion for it.
yeah but like all i have to do is fix my air line and sand out the rust inside my bed from there the tobs gas tank compartment and tubs are i just dont want to it aint nothin major either
Only time I miss doing anything with my truck is when I see another MT'r hitting switches or driving up and down the road, I wish I was in my truck other than that I don't miss any of it. I'll always keep the same styling cues and concepts of Mini-truckin just not in one.
o i agree but theres really not too many mini trucks around here all ricers, escorts, and cavaliers runnin around theres only 3 minis in this city that i see once a week mine cuz i walk by it to get to my daily, draggin brits truck cuz im always over at the house he is stayin at, and this kid that is using ranger I-beams for his link bars there is just nothing really encouraging around here
You guys are lucky that you can at least work on your vehicles... I had a serious girlfriend for 3 years that was very needy and I couldnt ever get the time to work on it. Now I broke up with her, I have the time, but Im 3 hours away (Im at college). Sucks for me. I probably got about a weeks worth of hard straight work done to my galaxie over the period of a year and a half.
dont have a mini but during the cold winter months up here in minnesota its just not encouraging to go out and work on anything.
