Has anybody sold their vehicle in the last 6 or so months? Seems like its impossible to sell anything no matter how you go about it. Shit I dropped 2gs off my dime just to get rid of it to pay my loan off and have gotten like diddly offers, same with the taco. Discuss.

i think your problem with the tacoma is the price, 6k is a whole bunch of money for a truck that bluebooks for 3000, check it out if you dont believe me, so thats the problem with the taco. the dime is worth 6k and more with all the work done, but thats the problem, its all already done, and its just an average dime, a nice truck none the less but its still a chevy s10 with tweed and bags, and some tlc, anyone who has 6k to spend will either aim higher for a better vehicle or will go for something newer that is worth more that is unfinished, dont ask me why but this is how it is, now i am not talking shit by any means about your trucks but something with a monoleaf, fuck that, who wants to pay 6k for a clean show worthy truck, then have to go cut it up to make it their own, im just not gonna bullshit you. sorry man, good luck selling them.

sold mine two months ago. first off...this is the worst time of year to sell anything. its winter. winter is alwasy the worst time to sell something other than a 4wd. spring will be the best time, when people can buy something and enjoy driving it immediatly

Blue book on that taco is alot more than $3000 haha. They sell for 6700 for stock 2wds here with way more milieage plus I put or best offer, still nothing. So thats not what it is. As far as the S10 goes, yea its def worth more than 6k but for all that work I assumed someone out there would be looking for something mostly built. There is still plenty more room for change too though, so I don't really get that argument either. Craziness, maybe just that time of the year i guess?

This value will likely be less than the Private Party Value because the reselling dealer incurs the cost of safety inspections, reconditioning and other costs of doing business. Vehicle Condition Ratings Check Vehicle Title History Excellent $6,000 "Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category. Good $5,500 "Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category. Fair (Selected) $4,665 "Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage. Poor N/A "Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value.
