new user

i got photoshop back in november and since then it has just sat on my icon bar not being used. is there a site or tutorial i can use to learn the stuff. i have basics thanks to some highschool classics but i dont know the tricks and how to keep an objects shape and reflection but change the color.anything helpsthanks Mark
