Core support swap

I was wondering if anyone knew if the radiator core support on a 97 s-10 is spot welded in or bolted? And for those of you that have done an envoy front swap, where did you get all the parts?

pretty sure its bolted in like all the gm trucks.

i didnt swap my core support to do my front end conversion... the head lights clip into the same location. I think we did have to make a bracket for the grill though but that wasnt really a big deal...

Yea I have to swap because i have the older style....since you have the newer front end whether it be a sonoma or s-10 98 and newer have the right core support

i got all my parts at a local junk yard. You should beablel to get most of them thare.

But the core support is deffinentally only bolted in place. the two lowers at the frame horns are the biggest ones, the rest of the points are just around the grill, under hood and fender area.

yeah just bolts right in .....but while on this topic ....anyone know if a 98 & up s10 rad support will let a isuzu hombre grill and lights bolt up or would the rad support have to be swapped on it also?

rad support on isuzu is different then s10 support^^^

you'll need a '98 or newer core support for the headlights to clip in
