Lookin for some opinions

This is totaly out there, but I was wondering what people thought about Military discounts at different places. No secret, I am in the Army, and I just got a list of place that offer a Military discount for services or whatever. What does everyone think? Is everyone cool with it, or not, and should a business advertise it or not. In my experience a lot of places wont, and some dont even tell you after seeing Military ID, and will only give it if you ask. I dont run around asking everyone, but I wll not lie, I dont mind getting a discount on stuff you know.
