Finally, im joining the scene for real!

Finally, things for me are tunring around. For 6 years I have been into the mini-truck scene ever sence Nick (ilikedraggin) in Fresno (i used to live there and chill with his cousin chad) got his s-10 and bagged the front. Sence then I have been looking, waiting and hoping for my chance to own an s-10 or better yet any bagged truck for that matter. Brousing mautofied.com and ebaymotors religisously everyday just looking for that truck to come along. And finally fate has put that truck into my hand, and Im deffinately not lettin this slip thru my hands. Finally all those hours brousing mautofied payed off. I had seen this truck on there in October in MI and really liked it but it sold. Well yesterday the truck poped back on there, and by the grace of god it was in VB now! Called the guy and turns out hes just lookin for someone to take over the payments. I can do that! So he brought it over today and I test drove it and almost cried haha. The pictures deffinately do not do it justice. But Im stoked, and Im pickin it up tuesday if everything goes right! I cant believe Im this close to finally getting into mini-truckin to the fullest. I love the life and friendships mini-truckin creates, and Im stoked to finally be a part of it.

oh yea, and just so you all know i do believe in the built not bought motto, but i gotta start somewhere i mean this is just too good of a deal to pass up. but i do know my stuff, im not some punk thats gonna give mini truckin a bad name and trash the truck. i have been readin (and dreaming) about s-10's and trucks in general on here for a few years now. so i know quite a bit, just never had a truck to actually work on. ok im done now haha.

sorry kid. I origionally posted a 30 min. reply to this thread but it got lost so I'll say this again "built not bought!" mautified/ebay is not minitruckin. buy somthin stock and make it yours. sorry but you aint no minitrucker to me

well mini-trucks must be built, and must be sold. someone has to buy them. believe me when i say im going to make it mine. this just gives me a jump start. dont bash on me tho man, im doing what i can with what i have available to me. so buying an already modified truck and modifying it more dosnt count? thats seems pretty messed up right there.

to me as long as you can't tell what the truck looked like before or whos truck is was in the past it's all good. paint it a different color and do some crazy shit that makes it stick out. although it's hard to stick out now days there's always someone doing something more crazy then you are. just give it you best man.

i've seen people rebuild the same truck 2 or 3 times and it looks totaly different everytime. that's what i would shoot for.

Thats cool.Just dont let any one talk shit to you cause you bought it.You worked for the money to buy it.If you do anything to it stay within your limits and do it right.Dont get it home and think because you`ve watched Jesse James on TV you can stockfloor b/d and do some massive fab work.
