Has anybody used air shears or an air nibbler to cut out their factory fenderwells? and did it work okay, or what did you use??? Thanks

well...i have always used a reciprocating saw with a pretty good blade...same ones the EMT's use...rated for steal up to 3/8"...cut through my frame like a hot knife through butter...

air sheers are probably a bad idea. because of the fact of the different stamped patterns that are probably in your inner fenders, the sheers would probably just get caught and cause a headache. I recommend a die grinder,angle grinder, or the sawzall style saw

Dont use Air sheers my son tryed it on his truck and broke my sheers when he tryed to cut over the body line.

ive used a cutoff wheel in a die grinder or a mini sawzall.
