Need help with MAF/CAI. Weapon R.

I bought a Weapon R secret weapon intake and it says to put a coupler onto the end of the intake tube and then put the MAF into the 2.5" side of the coupler. The intake tube goes into the 3" side of the coupler...the MAF is a huge ass cylinder with cones sticking out, not one of the thin square ones. It is way too big to fit into the coupler and I'm stuck. What the hell do I do?? It's on a 1995 Mazda 626 V6 2.5L. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.
