i'm suiciding some doors at my shop and i'm stuck...when i open the door it woin't go all the way open and i was wanting to know if i moved it in or out would that help me in my problem...
is the door hitting something or is the hinge binding?
no..its not binding...the back of the door hits the quarter panel about half way of opening...i was wandering if i moved the hinge in or out in the jamb area if that would help..just wanted someone's help that might have done some b4...
are you using factory hinges or what? what kind of car or truck. i would assume car since you said quarter panel
its a 96 nissan sentra..i'm using hinges from airbagit.com
^^^ theres your first problem. You're probably going to need to move the door forward bit. Can you provide any pics?
you are so blaufucked.
your hinges are too far away from the outter skin
there a shitty brand
and im assuming this is a customers car and this is your first time.
the hinges need to be closer to the door skin and it will change the swing of the door
