A buddy of mine is looking for a fuel cell for a 2001 F/S chevy pick-up. He wants a 25 gallon cell that fits in between the rails where the spare tire was. He also wants to be able to use his stock sending unit and fuel pump. I realize this will probably have to be custom made, but where can he get one made at? Never had to deal with this before.Chris

Buying just a regular 25 gal. fuel cell won't fit?
you just need to get an aluminum one and cut a hole in the top and make a spacer and clamp piece. Ill try to post pics when my cell is done on tues.

I'm pretty sure there is a company making fuel tanks for that boody style Chevy that fits int he stock location, with stock fuel capacity, but is about 2 inches higher or so. I have an article on it somewhere...

That would be sweet, but the goofball that built his 4 link screwed that scenario up. The whole reason he's having to do this is b/c the guy just chunked the tank in the bed b/c he was too lazy to do the link right.
