brake lines on d-50

how have you guys done away with the valve that was connected to the rear axle? I am about ready to start putting my bed back on and need to do this and extend my fuel lines.

I got three brake lines, but i heard somewhere on wasn't needed any longer. What is the deal on this? I went to the store and tried to buy a T just to tie all 3 lines together, but to no avail as far as finding one. Anyone that can, please help me on this.
