Definitely worth the money, my brother and most of my friends rebuilt their 450s and notice a big difference. When you said blown though, do you mean it comes on just doesnt pump, or doesnt come on at all?

the Rod and Piston rebuild kit for the 380, 400, & 450 are 29.99 Free shipping

the head rebuild kit for the 380, 400, & 450 are $18.99 Free shipping

as far as being worth it thats kind of a 50/50 kinda thing.

I've had numerous customers buy em and have good luck, and i've also had some customers get em and they didnt last long at all. More so matters what kind of abuse led up to it going out the first time

but the way i see it , it couldnt hurt to give rebuilding it a shot, save ya a couple hundred bucks just replacing it when it may not even be totally necessary

The rod has a new bearing, you remove a small allen screw on the side, and we've had to use a propane torch to heat it up a little due to the loctite.

you might still have a problem with the rear end of it also, if the wires are melted and all.. check the brushes, and also the thermal overload may be locked up.
