what ever happened to that trailblazer they started building with the buick rendevous front end on it? do you guys remember it. it was all shaved with suicide rear doors...
hmmmmmmm i dont recall hearin about it
go look in scrapes profile with the envoy on it and scroll down in the sigs and there is a rendering of it there. they put pictures on it of it as they built it but i dont remember it ever finished and there is nothing i see on the website.
hmmmmmmm i would have to say i do like the trail mix
I think it was going to have a Buick Rainer Front not rendezvous
You are probably right i was trying to remember those two which was was which.
yea it was the Rainer front end. It was done up by CCC and painted then sent out to get the billet trim airbrushed on and the guy messed it all up and didnt even follow the 2 tone break CCC left for him to follow. The owner i believe was messing around on the project or something so there was a mutual agreement for CCC not to finish it up. They've moved on to bigger and better things.

Yes robbie you are totally correct!
That owner was being a total DICKHEAD. He thought that since he was rich he could run my life and tell me what I could and couldn't work on in my own shop. He would come by to see the progress on his truck and flipout if I was not working on his project when he came in. I understand that he was paying out bigtime to get this work done but this was too much stress for me to handle so I told him that after I did the finish paint and reassembly that he should take it elsewhere to get the project finished.
He did not want me to do the airbrushed chrome so he took the truck to Taylor's House of Color in Louisville KY. There they did not go along the paint break that the owner and I settled on. The owner then brought the ASSEMBLED truck back to me to REPAINT to match the chrome trim. He wanted me to repaint for free because he said this problem was my fault!!! We came to a settlement and he still wasn't happy. I repainted the truck to fix Taylor's screwup and told him to get his project and hit the road...UNFINISHED!!!The last I heard of that truck it was at a shop in southern IL getting a Mustang II front suspension to make it lay and so far it's still unfinished. It left my shop in the beginning of '04. The whole thing makes me mad because I have distanced myself from that project and it would have made a badass ride that would have been an icon in the custom truck scene.
i knew all that but didnt wanna say everything..lol figured id leave that up to you john.
