question regarding gas tanks

alright i have a couple gas tanks from before only thing is they were used for a desil motor i swapped out the desil for a gas motor is there any way i can clean the tank out and reuse it for my gas motor.

im guessin your zuzu had a diesel? mine did, was slower then shit. only thing i can think of is that the fuel pump may be diffrent, and if your goin from FI to carb'd or vise versea. but a tank is a tank

Someone corect me if Im wrong but you should be able to clean and reuse the tank, might be a little smoky at first. A friend of mine put a VW Passat enging in his old ass VW Rabbit pick up, it used to be diesel and Im sure he reused the tank.

they sell cleaners to remove the fuel out of tanks, google it.
