AZ Carwash this weekend RIP PABLO

***Saturday & Sunday @ CVS Pharmacy 83rd Ave and Thomas 8am to 4pm*****
Over the weekend a great friend of mine who has been in the import and minitruck scene for about 6 years now passed away in what was to be the final ride in his H22 hatch. He was just married two months ago and had his first child 4 weeks ago. Always a man that loved to go fast he finally broke down and was going to get rid of his car for his daughter. He realized he had so much to live for and didn't wanna take the chance anymore. He went to trade his car on friday night and went to take the guy on a test drive. He wanted to show how quick the car was so they went to run it on a pretty much dead street. The car pulled hard to the right everytime you shifted so when he went to 3rd he hit a bump t the same time and the car went hard right. He overcorrected and went head on with a van. He was in a coma until yesterday.
He had medical insurance but his wife will have to pay around $3000 still. There was no life insurance so funeral expenses are all gonna be out of pocket.
We are getting together tonight to plan the location of the car wash. I will keep everyone updated. We really would appreciate to see the community come together on this. Thank You

Thanks a lot guys. Also if anyone knows of a pre '66 Vert Bug let me know. We are gonna continue to do what ever we can to raise the money for this. We are gonna build one up in his honor. He had many bugs and that was always his dream car.

omg, im sooo sorry to hear that, i know exactly how his wife is feeling, my deepest sympathy to his family and they will be in my prayers. its a terrible accident that shouldnt happen to anyone. if i was still living in AZ i would for sure show up.

Thanks for the comments guys. The Carwash is going to be held at CVS Pharmacy on 83rd Ave and Thomas. 8am to 3pm-4pm Saturday and sunday. I know this is kinda far for some of you so we are gonna try to have one near downtown next weekend. We would appreciate any support we can get on this. Thank you
