whatsup everyone.. i'm new and looking to get my feet wet in the mini trucking scene. i been customizing cars for a while now right now i have a honda crx, ford explorer and a 65 chevy impala that i have put a lil twist on. now i'm looking for a mini truck project. my goal is to find something cheap(around 1000 bucks) with potential to be cool. and i want to bag the rear over the winter so i can drag it to cruisefest show in ohio next summer. what do you guys think would be a good first truck to do this to. i have installed an air suspension on my crx before but nvr a truck. what would be involved in just being able to drag the rear on 18's? thanks for helping a newbie get invovled inthe mini trucking scene

94-97 s10....you can get parts cheep and there easy as hell to bag and you can get the whole rear bag setup as a bolt on kit.

Low SST is definately right, S10's are the easiest to bag for sure in my opinion...just be careful its real easy to be a cookie cutter w/ a 2nd gen. S10....oh yeah, welcome to minitruckin, its more addicting than heroin

you can usually find a reg cab manual 2.2l 4 banger for 500-1500. with like 100-150k miles.

Ok then do a 1st gen s10. 1983 to 1993. I know you can pick one of those up cheap. There's not quiet as much aftermarket stuff out there for them, but baggin it is just as easy as 94 and up s10's

dime's are easy enough to bag, you should bag front and back and drag all frame, not just back
