ok i just got to thinkin about this while talkin to zach about the bag setup i'm going to go with on my noma. Anyway i seen this truck in pigeon forge during battle of the trucks. It lays flat frame and the bed hasnt been cut up (not even a hole for the pumpkin) I tried to look under it but i could only see a little sense it was layed out. i seen that it was a bag over axle setup and i seen link bars where the leafs used to be. The dude that owned it which was about 65 years old said he crammed it all under there without having to cut the bed up. He wouldnt tell me exactly how he did it, all he told me was that he used a 3" c-notch. From looking at my noma with the 5/6 drop, the frame right now is 4.75" from the ground and the frame is about 2" away from the top of the axle. If i were to install a 3" c notch then i would be able to lay flat because i would have 5" of clearance where all i would need is the 4.75. The only thing i dont understand he how ol dude didnt have to cut for the pumpkin because right now mine has about 2.5" between the top of the pumpkin and bottom of the bedfloor. any ideas?

i'd say he just cut the whole floor out and moved it up just enough to clear what was needed. If you would have measured floor to top bed side and then compared it to stock, you could have fig. it out. you wouldnt really notice if he moved the floor up only 3" the way his bed is done.

size of wheels he is running is smaller then the size your running, my best guess

if he didnt cut the bed and didnt install traditional notches what are the yellow things in the bed for? sure look like notch covers to me.

my friend had a 97 s10, it was bagged on 17s he had to raise the floor above the box 3" and put a baby notch on it and laid frame. the bed looked stock besides that lil box that was like 6"x6"x3"tall its possible but you cant run anything bigger than a 17" even then your kinda pushing it.

i would have to say that the wheels look like 17's or so. the other thing who is to say that he didn't raise the floor. look like it has a bed kit and all you would have to do it and a 2 x 4 and no one would know. will maybe not a 2 x 4

you should have called bs on the old man and told him to quit being suck a stiff. but thats just me. im guessin this old man didnt raise the bed floor so he probly used that apolstry (sp?) kit to hide everything. those old people always think they are so smart lol

i'm impressed that he didn't have to cut the stepside bed all to hell. those things suck when it comes to tuckin.

This notch fits under the factory bed floor of a fleetside S-10, and it lays hard on 20s...
