need insp. pics of backhalfs please.

ok, i got to ripping apart on my rear frame rails today and decided that i dont really like them. they are from my old 4 link setup and nowadays im thinking i want to build something new. i just dont know what.im kicking around the idea of an irs i have laying around but i just built some pretty kickass brackets on the solid axle that i would hate to waste. whos got pics of backhalves for a little inspiration ? and what do yall think, go with some cool frame rails and put the solid back in or just go with the irs ?

oh yea, the truck is going back on the road as a driver. no more trailers for the beast.

DOES THE BED GO ON WITH THE STRAIGHT AXLE?WITH THE TRUCK BEING SO LOW?IF NOT THEN MAYBE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO USE THE IRS FOR THE CAMBER WHEN IT LAYS OUT.

well, this is the interesting part and i wish i had pics to go with it but i dont. the bed isnt a one piece unit anymore. the bedsides are just individual sides that mount on a framework that i built, just to hold the bedsides. the sides had already been spread out as far as i could get away with, without it looking stupid compared to the width of the cab. even at that the tires squeak and run as the truck sits down. im tucking over half of a 15x6 with a 195/50 on it and the top of the tire is about a half inch from going thru the top rail of the bedsides. you might actually have sparked a thought about the irs cambering in to let the truck come down without rubbing the bedsides. i hadnt thought about that.

or narrow the rear end hehe.im gona start onmy back half soon hopefully.

i got a 6 lug rear axle with some kickass 4 link mounts already in place i might want to sell. ill throw in the 4 link bars and heims if i go irs. if im gonna go to the trouble of narrowing it, its getting a 9" ford or a irs.

i seen a 9 in ford for sale down here for a 100 bux....

half reverse is were 2 bars are forward and 2 bars are rear ward...
