hey all, i was just wondering is the dakota digital gauges worth the $625 for the set of 6 gauges???
ive heard no.Ive never owned a set but from what I hear they are not very acurate
Is there a reason for 6 of them rather than one for each bag/one for tank?
i think he's talking bout the gauges for the engine, not the suspension. If so my buddy has a set of them, but has not installed them yet, they look like excellent quality pieces
Oh ok, just checking in case he was buying more than needed.
from what ive heard the quality is outstanding.
however, digital gauges are tough for the human mind to comprehend sometimes when it comes to acceleration. for instance the tach and speedo. im sure they are as accurate as digital can get, but analog will still give a more accurate reading on the gauge, but then theres room for human error.
in essence, if you like how they look, get em.
I havent bought there gauges, yet, but I have heard nothing but great things. I was actually recommended by somebody to them and have bought my door popper kit, and command system kit from them. I have heard alot of great things about the gauges though, and a good friend of mine just put a set of them in his Mazda and they are AWSOME. Id say go for it!
ya i think i will. i will probably go with the air ride gauge too. it just seems at home when installing all the other gauges. there was a gauge company at SEMA this year that won an award for best new product. i forget the name of the company, but man for being analog gauges, they were sweet.
