No penetration.......

Just looking for a little help here.  I have a hobart handler 140 and i just set it up and started welding my 3/16" front brackets(im using gas by the way), but it doesnt seem to be penetrating.  If anyone knows why or has any suggestions on what to do would help me out a lot.

its already all the way up

did you 45 the edges of the 3/16th?

check your wire speed 

swap your positive and negative wires inside the welder above the rollers for the wire. Your polarity is oppisite of what it needs to be....hope this helps bro

...and dont forget to go sloooow when welding thick plate and using a smaller welder

It's all about the angle of your dangle..
