will a 3.5-4 inch traditional bodydrop clear the hood of a tacoma?

just wondering what is the max in inches before you cant use your stock hood. oh and its a 2.4

what year is the truck... becase some tacos have the PS sticks way up on some years.my boy had to cut his hood on his step side extcab.i am gonna say no it wont clear if u dont drop the eng andlay rocker.and are we talking to the pinch? rocker? or door?

it should clear on most from 95 to 99. with the 4 cylinder!to the rocker!

 

My trucks not a Tacoma, its an 82 Toyota truck , but has the 2.4 and is body dropped to the rocker with the stock hood, motor mounts were dropped to retain the stock hood. You can see the pics in my profile Hope this helps.

3-1/4" and my ps hits the hood, motor wasnt dropped and it lays oil pan, and it lays flat

my buddies 00 is to the rocker, 3.5 in trad floored, the ps steering cap sticks outa the hood, as does the vacuum port on the intake. motor is not lowered and its the 2.4

my tacoma is a 97, trad. body drop with the pinch rolled and laying flat rocker with the stock hood. with the 4 cyl. motor.

my 04 taco is stockfloored to lay rocker with the frame z'd 3/4 and everything clears the hood
