how do you guys feel about this updated 8/31/07

i'm with seth... euros are uglybut definatly bring it back, i always loved that truck

lets just say u bought last look and painted it pink and put it on 20s, i dont see how people can say anything. either they like the truck...or they dont. u paid for it right? its urs, to do with as u please. i dont see it as disrespecting the truck, i mean yeah it is an icon...but no one lynched the owner when he sold it. just my two cents bro

dood i saw that truck a few months back on my way out to the desert on the 99 and i recognized the front fender and i was like ... WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO THAT TRUCK!!!

it was for sale for like 12k

it was juiced i do believe
so clean... now it looks like shit

cant wait to see it at e's pad ill cruise over there and see whats up with it when he gets it!

only if you shave the tail lights and put the same paint job back on it

Thanks I have been called many things in my time but never a god. I am not sure the label fits but I like it.

Thanks Phil makes a guy nervous having the truck now I like to believe it is in good hands.

Back to the topic at hand good luck with the purchase of the truck sure looks like a chunk of work to get back to its glory.It never hurts to contact the original builder. I know Jamie and I contacted Craig not only did he share great stories and ideas but he understood what we were doing and able to help out.Good luck and keep us updated.

im more than likely gonna keep the 18s and call it good (unless i find the kmc units in 20s), even though i didnt do any of the other work or had any of the other work. once its back to par & has the new mods done then it will be the first vehicle ive actully finished to a point. not that im looking to finish anything any time soon(of my own rides). just i know ive got about 2500 in bed work to have done & another grand in suspension maybe 2 grand before i touch the interior & then talk paint not to mention probably 700$ in motor work. it probably wont drive around for a while however it will be @ kuts r us as soon as i gather the cash for the 2500-3500 in the bed work.

so plans basically are
new interior
new skin combo with shaved tails & leds
smooth bed floor & sides & new wheel tubs.
get a new head for it & make sure it runs cherry. then back to who ever painted it for new paint.

to be honest im glad alot of people support this idea now & arent looking down on it. i honestly expected a shit load of hate and people to say leave it alone or do it up diffrently. i meen dont get me wrong its gonna change some but i truley expected a bunch of bullshit. thanks guys i apperciate the comments and the praise for wanting to save it and bring it back to life.

turns out something came up on my end. i wont be able to get this truck. i wish i could but theres a BIG posability my budget on toys is gonna shrink soon for a while...

that makes me sick, I cant believe its the same truck.
