Old guy minitrucker's

This is something that has happened twice to me in a year. I had to drive my Astro to get an Xmas Tree. The Astro is bagged tons of mods the kid at the lot said your son has a bad Astro. I said it was mine he asked my why would I have something bad ass. It shocked me I just came back with in the day this Astro got your Mom in the Back He did not get it. Also this year at Summer Madness someone asked me how could I be having a good time at the event and be so old. I have owned a Mini Truck and still do going on 38 years. So that makes me 53 and still love the sport.

im geting there in age im 38 also and i make to more events then some young people that i know all the young ones do is make some kind of an exicuse why they could not make it there.

Joe you are just one of those old die hard Mini Truckers.

this made me think cause I turned 33 today. And I feel old some days

i'll be 36 tomorrow and have been in the scene; since i was 16. i dont have the funds to get as into it as i would like; but in 2 years my son will be 18 and i will celebrate (not having to pay child support) by going to get my nissan bagged and body dropped. i also hope to help him get his 1st truck and see it get bagged

The way I look at it is if you are still having fun with it who cares how old you are.

that's cool as hell, because i thought i was getting old at 28. most people where i come from in southern ca go to full sizes at anything older than 25. at least i've got one of each!!!!!!

old minitrucker here myself, started out with a nissan swb back in 86, then moved to a yota xtra cab around 90-91. loved those trucks. The days of no torsion bars, 1/4" worth of bumpstop and 7 " worth of blocks in the rear.

im 32 now and i have been building minitrucks since i was 15 and would not do anything else. Things are just a bit slower now with house payments and stuff
