HELP needed broke down on my way to havoc.. PLEASE

I would try to find another drive shaft too, its probably out of balance. That pull-a-part junk yard has a couple 93 dodge trucks, but I don't know if there the same or not.

from what ive been told, the driveshafts are different from 2002 and up

yea, i was guessing i would need a new DS also, just another thing to add to the list lol

thanks everyone, and thanks again to you jason, i appriceate the offers, its not everyday that you would find someone who youve never met be willing to drive an hour to help out or just come up to visit. Thanks again man.

it will eventually, just have to wait it out, get it fixed and get home.

its just super depressing because every time i try to think of something else, i end up getting pissed because my wife and i put SO much work into this thing this year, and dumped everything we could into this over the last year or more, all of it was in prepration for the HAVOC show and ITB, I dont go to alot of shows and i usually dont get a chance to go to any shows that have people that havent allready seen my truck in my garage. , i was just excited to let some other people finally see all my hard work, and it all gets fucked like this....

lol, i even had this exact thought about a week ago, so, before we left, i changed the plugs, plug wires, air filters, fuel filter, flushed the tranny fluid and coolant.........i figured my rearend was good, i had just checked it a few months ago...lol i thought i had all my bases covered HA

now i wont be to another show untill its completed lol, sooooooo whos ready for havoc 08? haha

The carnage looks bad, but at least you and your wife are ok, could've been alot worse!

tell me about it. That is the exact thing my dad said when he talked to us the next day. Really, it could have been worse, loosing control with a trailer attatched is usually a bad situation.

I will admit, we were both kinda scared to be broken down in the middle of noware, with no geographical knowladge of teh area, on a pitch black street, having to walk a mile to a truck stop to use a phone because im in such a back woods town that i get no signal on my cell phone. Its one of the few occasions that ive been thankfull that i have my concealed weapons permit, we at no point in tiem were in any kind of physical danger or anything of the sort, but it was a scary situation.

There is a yard right down the road from me that has a rearend listed on car-part.com , do you know your gear ratio, they want a grand for it, but theres other places pretty close that don't have a price listed

yea, i checked that car-parts place out, and that is auctually one of the places ware im calling tommorrow, their about 30miles from here, and they say them have one for 750. My second lead is the local dodge dealership. They said they can locate one for me, and install it for someware around 1200$

My third lead is one of the national car parts finders, they can ship one to me, or warever im getting it fixed at, for 750$ and it has a warranty for 90days, then the dodge dealership will install it for 225$

im just waiting for the morning to call some other places when their open.

my gearing is the 3.55 , but im considering changing it to the 3.9* , idk if that will help me tow better or what.?.
