a cummins would be pretty simple except for the fab work only a couple of wires. As far as emissions you should be able to do a swap as long as you follow your states guidelines. if you can do it in CA you should be able to do it anywhere, we have some of the most dificult smog laws. Gale Banks did it to a dokota and its registered.as far as bagging it my neighbor has a 1ton dodge daully and i think hes just using art shockwaves>

I had a 12 valve Cummins and tranny that was going to go in my 65 Cadillac but i ended up selling the car. Go cummins and forget the duramax!

Actully i was thinking about doing the same thing. But after some research i found that the 4bt cummins would probly be a better choice. ITs actully a 4 cylinder version of the 12 valve. Ive seen a couple swaped into other kinds of trucks. but this is the only pic i found of one in a s-10
