Just because YOU only fixed 3 sets doesn't mean that they were the only ones that broke. I have repaired a couple sets and I know of people that have just thrown them out becasue they didn't want to deal with it. I'm not sure why you would use 3/16" plate and I surely do not understand why you would butt weld a plate inbetween two tubes, poor design in my book. After I made the balljoint plate out of 1/4" plate and sleeved it into each tube app. 1" it solved the problem. The other thing that bothered me was that when I made the jig to repair them the tubes weren't even bent the same on each arm.

Read before you post idiot. Dallas Hot Rod Parts is HIS new thing. It's not even a shop yet so go ahead and contact the BBB and they will call you and idiot as well. And he said he can't refund everyones money at once. (im sorry but quit trying to act like a computer commando.) I've been screwed before and you guys are lucky this guy is gonna try his best to refund you what you are owed. Shit, some people get taken for thousands of dollars and never see a dime back. At least he is trying to do something. Hopefully it all works out for you guys and everyone gets taken care of.

well, I dont have a paypal account anymore so if you want a refund please send me the info. if not then I have no way of knowing any of the payment info. my files and everything related to BYC was locked up and I do not have access to it.

look up DHP all you want. IM Dallas Hotrod Parts, and I havent opened anything yet and wont until all this is settled or on the way to being settled.
the BBB doesnt get anyones money back for them. when is the last time anyone you know of looked up any company on the BBB before buying something??

well, every company has things that come back. just look up the recalls that a large company like Chrysler has, thousands of items...
I corrected the arms as fast as I could, offered replacements and even payed shipping both ways. what the hell else do you think I should do..?? thats certainly more than most people would. also, of the sets I redid, all three had marks where the arms contaced the frame from excessive lift from bags. when the bags have more lift that the arms have travel there has to be some give somewhere.. the arms take that stress at the balljoint plate and will fail unless they are plated. they dont just break from normal driving.
thats over and done with anyway. the problem was solved and the newer parts were superior. the parts I build in the future will also be very strong.
