SSM - Overhauling the magazine

I agree with eliminating the mag and investing time and funds into better organizing and expanding the other features of SSM. Like, linking threads with respective tech articles (since mods are always being updated). The gallery would be a great idea, I only really pay any attention to show coverage in the mag anyhow. This would just make it all the easier to navigate. I like the Top 5 viewed, but maybe showcase a construction zone as well. An area that brings up current builds (instead of everyone starting a project thread, we can leave comments on their page). I think the classifieds could be better navigated if it were more like Craigslist, but for us. Have icon's for each make of vehicle, then subcategories for model. I know a grip of people on here selling stuff for 89-95 Toyota.

i signed up to support the site. I actually just looked at the magazine for the first time and it was pretty good, but i could do without it to have other cool stuff. tech/info/opinion/lifestyle articles would be neat.

Dump the mag and just post the features/show coverage when you get it.. I honestly don't even read the feature coverage.. just like seeing more pics of a truck since the mags can only run so much coverage..... hope it works out with whatever you guys decide... late

I like the mag part but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I pay my membership dues every year because I know if non of us did, then this site would eventually shut down. Then I would go into SSM withdraws and I would end in some psycho mental hospital. I like the idea of bringing back the shirts. I have almost worn mine out

definatly a good idea. i remember back in the day lookin at the mag under my buddies s/n cuz he had a paid membership lol.shirts coozies and stickers would be freaking sweet.say when upgrade to silver, u get a sticker or sumthin along that line, when u upgrade to gold u get a coozie and sticker and when u upgrade to platinum, you get a shirt sticker and coozie package combo.i would just post show coverage and any features you shoot with a lil write up.

I would love to have show coverage coming out of our ears... 2-4 or more a week
