there's no question you should just get a new bed, trying to salvage that thing would be nothing but a headache and MAJOR warpage.

but if your main concern is bedfloor why not get a new bed and put that floor in it?

flange the edge and panel bond it. it wont go no were and no warpage.

James beat me to it but, ya, you could lap joint the panels and that will help warpage and make the panel stronger before you weld it. I have not used the panel bond before.

List price for your bedsides are $910.85, you just have to specify a 6.5' bed or an 8' bed. They are all the same, Lt and Rt for both sizes are all the same price. if you know someone in the auto body business you could try to use their discount to get those knocked down up to 30% off. or call the largest ford dealership in your area and talk to the wholesale parts guys and see if thery will work with you on the price. Many times they will at least cut you 10% of a break.

i dunno bout cali but in Texas we have a place called certifit and they sell reproduction like factory panels at a fraction of the cost. Might be worth lookin into.
