Not the most legal way, would be to switch VIN's. OR, register it as a Hot Rod (i dont know the laws in your state, but in maine you can register damn near anything as a hot rod thats not a factory vehicle) the only down side is your limited to a certian nnumber of miles a year, and i think your excides tax (maybe something different in your state) is slightly higher.
anyone have a pic of this thing ?
registering it in the us is a pain in the ass i have an old bmw that was brought over when it was new and the cost of putting it to us specs was almost as much as the car was to buy lol but if you were to bring it in in pieces and register it as a kit car its resonable so i've heard

If a vehicle is imported for show or display you are limited to 2500 miles a year. One other option would be a lien. If you were lucky enough to know someone that could bring one over you could put a lien on it and get it registered. I don't know about other states, but in California its easy to put a lien on a vehicle (especially if you know a cop). All you have to do is have the vehicle verified, get it smogged, and have insurance.I'm just not sure if the VIN is set up the same on vehicles outside the U.S.
