dump/tilt bed

HEy i am gettin ready to bag my truck and i am gonna do my dump or tilt bed when my shit is apart i was jsut wondering does anyone have any pics of their setups i just need some idea on how to mount the hinges and everyhtign , thanx

Hmm so its nto really that hard but 3 questions do i have to make a sub frame for my bed, caue ino when icut it out its gonna be wobbily as fuck m and how do you get it to lock in position , shokcs be recomended or no

mine had a cadillac trunk latch that was electric to lock it. when i hit my switch to the bag a relay sent the signal to the latch first then the bag. i had a shock on their to stabalize it. i could 90 mph down the fwy with a load and it was still as could be. My trucks bed was fully sheeted so it was subframed.

Back in the day you would drive in front of a ride and lift your bed and dump on someone.

You would also hoped that it was latched down well enough that your bed would'nt fly the "f" off.

Convertibles with dump beds and snugtops should come back..... IMO

Hahaha thats exaclty what i wanan do , there is alot of ricers around my house and i cantstand themso just sittin low at a streetsign and sumpit i think that would be badass , i didnt think of a cadillac trunk latch, and the shocks will be no prob , i plan on runnin a full sheetmetal bed floor so thats no prob

i thought about doing a tilt bed on mine so i dont have to pull the bed off to chang my battery.
