anyone have one for sale? ive checked the junkyards around here, and have been on ebay, and havent found a whole lot. thanks.
you COULD just buy the crossmember and use stock arms from another car, camaro calipers, and granada rotors. When the ford truck forum that i go to for my truck stuff comes back up, i will get the specific parts. Of course drop spindles from somewhere like heidts or the like. I think TCI sells them for like 200 bucks.
This way you have the perfect mounts for your truck as far as steering (rack and pinion) is concerned, as well as arm mounts and all. Keeps everything alligned.
thanks man, let me know when you are able to get the part names. this is for a 68 ford f100 also.
You can get a complete front end spindles, rotors, arms everything from TCI for around $1700 bucks. I think they sell them set up for the old Ford trucks too.
wow i just built a truck exactly like that mine was a 69 tho, i also did a mustang II front end, i freakin hated it... i would honestly go another route, but its up to you...
thats honestly what i would do...
YEAH. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET MUCH LIFT WITH A MUSTANG 2. I'D GO WITH S-10 OR NEWER F150 FRONT.
yea, we are going with a Crown Vic suspension now. thanks guys.
have you looked at the front end on a crown vic? i'd choose something from chevys lineup.....
