It's a junkyard in Troy, TX. Called Anderson Auto Salvage. He's told me several times that he can't keep 4.7's. I'm not sure about the 5.9 though. They sell them the day they come in on the trailer. Last one he sold was for $2700 with tranny. So he would be making $500 off of me quick. That's part of the reason why I won't do it. That and I havent' really found a motor I am dying to have. Ecspecially since mine will be a daily and gas prices keep going up. Thinking about putting a 4-cylinder in it. LOL How's the truck coming along? I was going to go with the Hydratech but they were just to high. I bet you could get a 1 ton booster for cheap in the Houston area. This junkyard is always alot higher than any place i call in Houston.

I didn't realize there were problems with these engines but they seem to move them pretty quick. Local mechanic I know has replaced 4 in the past year. My luck, while were talking about it, mine will take a shit on me. LOL

I would like to put something really different in it. Something that would piss the "Hemi" god's off. Maybe Chip Foose and the A-Team will overhaul my chit and put a 572 in it for me. that would be sweet. I would need a 50 gallon fuel if I did that. LOL For now i'll stick to the 4.7. I would rather make it look good and do the paint and interior first. Then maybe a new engine.

Might want to check on the master cylinder bore size and make sure it's not to big for your truck. Thats the same setup I put on my dakota at first and the master was to big and made my brakes drag. You might be alright since you have a ram.

All the brake lines are the same. They bolted right up to the side of the master cylinder just like they came off the other ones. All the lines are the same diameter also. I got a buddy that works at the local dealership so i've been comparing stuff all day. Seems to all be the same. We'll see in a couple weeks how it works.

Thanks bro I'll give em a call sometime,progress on the truck has been slow I got a new job and time has not been on my side!! so eventually it'll come together I'm gonna try and take advantage of this long weekend to get the ball rollin again. In the meantime atleast i've gotten alil break form it!!lol how is yours comin along?
