I use nitrogen on my caprice daily, but its getting expensive for me. I pay 16 bucks every week for my 125cf bottle. I will be going EDC VERY soon with a viair 380 for backup.

I run two nitrogen bottles in the bed on my daily and because I'm ultra switch happy I usually run through abouta tank in six days. I am going to pick up a compressor soon because in the long run It will save me some cash. I really like the fact that the nitrogen is so fast and always at the same psi though.

i have two 300cu tanks in my bed, they are 200lbs each, loaded missles if rearended, and cost $18 exchange each. i go through both of them in a few weeks or i kill em both in a day fukin around. i had a york and plan to go back to that setup but with a better filtration system, probably run nitro the rest of this season..

I run a 240 tank and love it.... just go to the same place every time to fill make friends with the guy and you'll get hooked up. I run mine out every few days, week at the most I get every 3rd to 4th bottle free and only pay about 11.50 a fill.
I use helium in a scuba tank and that crap cost big money to fill but its crazy to hit with and at a much lower psi

Hell I only pay 12 to exchange a huge bottle. guess it's cheaper around here...gotta get a small backup compressor for emergencies though...

helium is way faster try it one time you'll be sold
and its safe as nitrogen .... as safe as you can be with a torpedo in your bed

I have worked up a new method that I want to try and I am going to try to explain so here it goes....
My method involves a compressor and a bottle and 2 preasure switches. I want to put the compressor on a 150-175psi switch and the bottle on a 110-145psi switch. In other words, if I get switch happy and dip below 145, the bottle will kick in.... quick. Meaning the compressor would only have to pump 25-30 psi to which is nothing. Of course its not a showoff setup but in my mind a nice solution to a daily driver. What do you guys think?????

my buddy did that but he set the bottle to 120 and let the comp take it to 175 and he had air anytime he wanted due to the bottle being on

duh! good point... no need for 2 switches... turn the bottle down... to 120-150. LOL
