ive got 2 AZ's in my 95 bird with a 12 gallon tank and its killing my electrical system and not to mention it just takes up too much space so im looking possibly switch to nitrogen since an engine driven is out of question.my only setback would be the cost... does it get expensinve after a while? im not very switch happy but the car weighs alot and takes more air to lift than mini's do. post up your thoughts cuz im not sure what to do with it yet.
whys an engine driven not a possibility?
No room...
its got a 4.6 v8 and it would be hell trying to mount an EDC in there
im sure its possible. look into a york or even your factory a/c pump if your a/c is out then theirs not much left to do except run some hydraulic lines. but if it does work and you want to keep it theres numerous style york compressors off of 80's volvos and fords you can use i just did one on my truck keeping stock a/c and power steering
Nitrogen will get to the bottom of your pocket quick though you'll have to refill(around 50-60 bucks) maybe every 2 weeks or so
and by the way your bird's pretty sick
50 to 60 bucks seems awfully high to me, a tank of nitrogen here is like 25 bucks. i dont hit switchesd much at all and refil prolly like 2 times a month depending.
nitrogen is not a good idea for a daily. upgrade your electrical system, it's the most effective way to solve your problem

Every time I see you post I think of KRS1.
I wouldn't do nitrogen on a daily. Trust me I have experience with this. It cost me about 32.16 every 2 weeks to get mine filled. That is with not alot of driving. I could run throw a bottle a day at a show or a night out. It gets really expensive. That's why I got me a engine driven from the junk yard for $10 and an AZ for back up. Plus the nitrogen bottle are very large and heavy. They were really a pain in the ass. This is what I carried everywhere with me. The one upside is non-stop switches will there full.
