1994 gmc need help, cant get it to lay on 22s

i got a 1994 gmc i just put bags on the front using suicide doors cups and i notched the frame for the tierods, i believe it has drop spindles because it was sitting really low on 20s when i bought it and i dont think it would be sitting that low on just some springs, anyway i put the 22s on it and it is like a couple inches from the control arm cross member laying on the ground maybe a little more than 2 inches but not much maybe a 1/2 or so, anybody tell me how to fix this it is freaking me out cause ive never bagged one of these before, just a new body style chevy.

did you notch for the lower arms to travel up more?

Im always a little confused about these posts. Just jack up the arm and see whats stopping it from going up all the way? Hell even take the rim/tire off and do it. Couldn't be that hard.

make sure you have spindles.

no i did not notch my lower control arm, and how do you tell a drop spindle from a stock one if you dont have both of them to compare them??

Ball joints are maxed out, most likely. Or the lower arm is hitting the bottom of the frame or the upper arm is hitting its mount. or youre cups are too big.

the arm is hitting the frame, do i notch the frame or will tubular control arms from like FBI or Air Ride Tech fix the problem. and yes the ball joints look to be in a bind

You could either modify the factory arms to correct for ball joint angle and clearance or buy tubulars that are corrected for BJ angles. Tubular clear b/c they arent as bulky.Originally posted by ScrapinChevy00

will it lay on 22s with the tube arms without cutting anything else?? i already notched for the tie rods.

Yea my blazer has 22's and Tube arm and it lays HARD in the front
