HELP. NEW MOTOR

Just installed a new motor, top and bottom end. Got everything in fine. Got the timing pretty close just by idle, and easy start up. Truck starts up and idles great for 30 min, after that it dies. If I go to try to start it back it acts like the battery doesn't have juice but it does. I was told maybe it had to do with vacuum assist but I know nothing about this. Any help I can get I'll take. And i can give any answers I can.
Thanks guys

Because the truck will run for 30 minutes and then act like the battery is dead, I would check the electrical connections at the battery for corrosion and check the engine grounds for good connections. I don't think there is anything wrong with your vacuum assist.

Hope this helps.

I think it may be an overheating issue caused by timing. Because once it sits it starts back fine. I'm waiting on a new temp sensor ATM. But the water pump is pushing so I don't believe it's getting too hot to actually damage anything. There's always juice at the battery to run compressors and lights and all that.

It's not battery related, the battery is only used to start the truck initially, after that everything runs off of the alternator.
