Those brackets have a offset for GM rotors( the deck height), & will not work with the Mustang rotors which have a different deck height!
I made my own brackets in use with the Mustang rotors & I am using calipers from a 79-85 Caddy with e-brake. I got these from E-Bay/classicperform.com, new $136.53 ,shipped.
I talked with the tech guy @ skybrake about them getting brackets for the Mustang rotors ,but he said they outsource them!
The rotors are .95'' thick,2.56'' high & 11.32'' OD
$115.56 shipped from brakeplanet.com

YES, what ever rotors you use ,you have to use calipers that are for the rotor thickness, then you have to make sure the caliper is centered over the rotor! If not you'll have drag, fiction & bad wear,& brakes that pull!
The bracket has to let the caliper sit @ center of the rotor!
I couldn't find any company with brackets for the Mustang rotors ( the offset ) needed!
All kits are for GM rotors for our trucks ,in less you go with Wlwood,( Revolution Brake)then you better have a lot of $$$$$$!

OK, will this set up fit under the stock steel wheels:

1980 Eldo calipers and rotors with the Sky caliper brackets.

No, 17'' or larger rims needed!

Damn. 17s even on the back? Guess the disco-era Caddy had bigger wheels than I thought.

What about using Taco calipers and rotors? I need to do a brake job soon and I hate drum brakes. Pain in the ass to work on, inferior stopping power, especially if they get wet.

I could be wrong, the rear rotor size is 11.32'' OD, the front is 12.19'' OD!
Hope this is some help!
And hope you get the upgrade done ,you won't regret it!

I've got a Tilton prop valve collecting dust on my work bench, so that'll be used to keep the back brakes in check. Planning on the FJ80 master cylinder.

I'm also thinking about tracking down some 15" steel Tacoma wheels--only size larger than 14 that seems to come in five-lug. I wonder if the front brakes from a Tacoma could be fit to the front of a '93? Will be easy enough to check when I get the parts together for the back. Planning on a trip to Pick-A-Part in the near future.

Not sure if its been asked but, Is there any reason why you cant run the caliper that goes with the rear rotor? ie 86 Mustang SVO rear rotors, Mustang SVO rear calipers... Ill be making my own bracket to mount the caliper anyways so why not keep it to its designed rotor?
Also Anyone have info on the all toyota rear disc conversion?
Thanks

With a new master there would be a lot of air in the system in less you bench bled it.
Also it would be leaking.
When you bleed the brakes you start @ the fairest point rear drivers side, rear passenger ,front passenger, drivers.I put the bleed hose into a bottle of brake fluid so as not to draw in air, also can see the air bubbles, when no more you knew that wheel is good!
Hope this is of some help!
