WHAT ENGINE????

I AM WONDERING HOW CAN I TELL WHAT ENGINE I HAVE IN MY HONDA I KNOW THAT ITS A SOHC D16 BUT WHAT DOES THE Y AND SHIT STAND FOR????

im not all that familiar with civics, but most honda engins have the engine code stamped right on the block right near the exhaust manifold...hope that helps

Why dont you tell us the code so we know what motor you have? Im guessing its a d16y7, which is a sohc non vtec motor, 1.6 liter.

most minis have 4 bangers in em, and i dont think i am alone here when i say it only takes about 15 mph to throw a spark...
