How good are these tires for 22's? I want to stay around 29 to 30 inches total. Are they a good ride or is it a ruff? I'm looking at Pirelli, Nitto, and Sumitomo.
I had Pirelli Scorpion 265/35/22 on my GMC 1500 and it rode better to me than with the factory tires.
i had them on my sierra 1500 crew
and towwed with them
i had the hankook ventus tires
they are load rated and had
no problems
I'm running that size, they ride out just fine.
THAT SIZE TIRE IS OVER 30" TOTAL. I HAVE 285/30/22 AND THOSE ARE 29" OVERALL. LOOK ON TIRE RACK TYPE IN THE SIZE AND IT WILL BRING IT UP AND YOU CAN VIEW THE TIRE SPECS. THATS WHAT I DID

Actually I have looked on a few sites and it says they are 29.3 inches tall for the 265 tire.
Thanks for the replies I think I found what I am looking for.
I also have a question about this. I have 265/35/22s on 22x9.5 rims, but the tires don't seem to be wide enough for the rim. Should I go to a 285/35 or 265/30? They're on a '02 F150 SuperCrew (also towpig).
lol 265/30 is even smaller, and the 265/35 is just over 29" tall.
