Heres my problem. Some times when i go to start my truck it will turn over but not fire up. After doing this for a few times it will finally turn over. I have noticed that even though its fuel injected that when i press on the gas it seems to fire up. Also another thing i have noticed recently is it seems as if my truck kinda bottoms out when you are on the gas. And by this i mean i feel it going and the motor is pulling but at seems to kinda stall out as i am accelerating. Its does not stall to the point where the truck shuts off but it seems like my accleration stalls for a second. Any ideas guys? Maybe the fuel filter? Have no idea the last time this was changed. Thanks in advance for help. The motor is a 22RE 130K miles new plugs and wires, cap and rotor. 0 gauge wire to the battery, relocated in the bed. 8ga ground wire from battery to frame. Sorry i dont know if that makes a difference but i figured i would throw it in.

Id check the fuel filter & then if it doesnt help then Id see if any of the injectors are clogged up! When we installed the motor in my truck it was doing the same as yours & come to find out one injector was bad.

alright. Thanks! Thats what i thought could have been the problem too. The fuel cut is really what lead me to believe that since it only did it when the fuel was in demand.

Np...yea its hard to believe that 1 injector could cause all that, but it will make an engine to run like crap lol!!

yeah it doesnt run poopy yet. The main thing i notice is when i am on the gas it feels like it falls on its face. Almost like the feeling of hitting the rev limiter

If that doesn't help try the coil. And if I were gonna change my injectors or get them cleaned I would change them or get them all cleaned at once.

sounds like fuel starvation to me..... may wanna check your TPS as well.

Mine did the same exact thing. I unplugged the TPS and all the problems were gone. Now I just need to get a new one....Sounds like this could be a solution to your problem, but I usually start with a fresh fuel filter first.
