Honda Ridgeline

has anyone got a chance to drive one of these. i can say im less than impressed

who makes a front wheel drive with rear assit pickup? i matted the damn thing and it would even sqeaul the tires.

It's not meant to be some high hp tiresmoking monster 4x4. It is just a Pilot with a cargo area.

haha, honda claims its not based on the pilot at all, here in Canada they are promoting the shit out of its "off road ability"

I've been a Honda tech for the past 8 years, and lemme tell you, it's a Pilot with a "Bed." Offroad ability, HAH! My S-10 can offroad as good as a Ridgeline, haha.. You know they were originally going to put a V-8 in it. Shame they didn't.

yeah i am also a honda tech for the last 4 yrs i am extremely disappointed in it. I would never pay the price for what they want for one

strange cuz they sell pretty good up here in NoDak at the honda dealer i work at...i work in the body shop so dont quote me on this but im quite sure they are NOT the same as a pilot in alot of ways...they may share some of the same things but im pretty sure the ridgelines platform is its own...

It's on a Pilot chassis. Even a lot of the part #'s cross reference.

I bought one and had it for about 2 months and sold it!! I HATED IT! Its no different than the Element, and at that, its as ugly!

ya see thats what we thought but when we mentioned that when a sales manager was around he jumped us for sayin that so i just assumed it was different..ah well they dont tell us body shop guys shit were just the grunts in the back...

none the less we have a hard time keeping ANY honda on our lot..there VERY popular around here..cant even find many used hondas...
