Heres a stupid question but my manual doesnt say... to get the engine to tdc do u turn it clockwise or counter clockwise?

yeah counter clockwise cause rember the way the belt turns has to open the intake valves first(if you were to be looking straight were the cam gears and crank pulley is,it would have to go counterclock wise to open the intake side first)
