Neon Lights for Model cars

I was wondering where you get these. I have seen a few pictures on here of like some Dub City models with the neon lights on them. Is there kits you can buy or are they just the regular small neons for like the inside of a car or what? I've searched on the net, couldn't really find anything, and the hobby stores here in town don't have anything like that.
