alright well i tried tapping into my dimmer switch for power on my gauges and apparently it doesn't work that way.
I had been getting 11.4 (truck off) at the switch regardless of position and then go to measure again and I get like 4.3.......did I blow something? i figured if i did, it wouldn't get power at all....
do i HAVE to run a relay on these things and if not, what wire can I splice into and not have any problems??
